Access to Medicines Ireland was very grateful for the opportunity to attend an Oireachtas Foreign Affairs Committee hearing to address the issue of equitable global access to COVID-19 vaccines. During the committee hearing, we explained why we believe that Ireland should formally endorse the World Health Organization’s Covid-19 Technology Access Pool (C-TAP) without delay. Invited speakers included Winnie Byanyima, Executive Director of UNAIDS and David Nabarro, Special Envoy of the World Health Organistion DG on COVID-19.
